Psilocybe Cubensis APE

Psilocybe cubensis ‘Albino Penis Envy’  aka APE is a slow fruiting strain and thus not recommended for the novice study. We offer no support on studies with this strain, nor replacements.

This mushroom is a hybrid of the infamous Penis Envy and Albino PF. Fruits are small but prolific. This is a leucistic (albino) variation, the spores are hard to harvest as they do not naturally drop a spore print meaning Albino penis envy spore print is not available. The spores are also transparent. APE is known best as a “novelty mushroom.” If you can get a clone from a nice cluster, it will produce much better. Like its parents, it’s exceptionally potent.

All in all, it is a very fun mushroom to grow and is a must-have for any collector.

Growth parameters are identical to any Psilocybe Cubensis, but this mushroom does not do well on cakes. It does best in a bulk application.
